I would like to thank the Martin family for my adorible little shih-poo Toby. His temperment is so good and he loves being right there with me Che is my little shadow. Shelly was so awesome, she would email me back right away when I would email her. Believe me I had lots of questions. I was looking for my first puppy and was scared to get one off line, but as soon as I visited her an saw my little Toby, I knew she really cared for all her dogs and puppies and want to see them go to a good home. She has a wonderful house and family and a great set up for all the dogs. I know if I want to get another one, I will be getting one from her. I tell everyone where I got Toby and know every puppy they have will be a great pet to have.

i wanted to thank this family so much for giving us a great bundle of joy by the name of max. he is very smart and great with kids and the potty training seemed to be not as horrible as i had imagined. once again if you happen to see a dog on here u love buy him/her u wont regret it. I got my Macey in April and am in love... She is such a good little girl and I'm trying to talk my roommate into buying the yorkie poo now, although that's not going well since we'd have 2 dogs running around. I would recommend any of these dogs to anyone. My Macey is wonderful. She is sweet, cuddly, loveable, fun, energetic, full of personality, and mine. =)

I'm patiently waiting for my little Abby. I've been at the Nursery and seen for myself how these little ones are so loved and taken care of. I feel so blessed to have found this breeder Shelly. I searched on the internet for a couple days and believe me when I say that this breeder is the best price, very loved, (I saw for myself) and a wonderful couple taking care of these precious puppies. Thanks Shelly for your keeping me and others up to date on the changes that take place weekly with our babies. God Bless you.

Just wanted to say i have just bought a puppie from shelly, she is the nicest person i have ever talked to on the phone. Very easy, flexable and most of all reasonable. If you are looking for a puppie on her site is strongly recomend buying it ! ! ! thanks agian for everything ! !

thank you shelly for being a very good breeder.I just got tinkerbells girl for my daughter whom is afraid of hurting her she is so so small so now I have not only spots but lela as well.Lela is a bossy little girl and has adjusted just fine to her new home.she has even started barking if I am not paying enough attention to her.Thank you again for the chance to get a second pup from you.she and spots are vry well loved and spoiled.Spots still dosen't bark at nothing excet when a stranger comes in.he dosen't even bark when someone knocks at the door.I hope Lela picks up on the not barking but I think she is going to teach him how to bark.lol again thank you

I saw your ad and went to your web site that you offered. I'm also a yorkie lover myself and have one and so does my mother-in-law. Ours are aound 8-10 pounds. Yorkies are so cute. Heidi is a precious little girl. When she gets up from a nights sleep or a nap she is ready to go and eager to play. She loves to cuddle with her mom and watch TV and at nap time she gets between her siblings and cuddles up with them. I can't say enough about Shelly and the care and love she gives the little ones. I have never dealt with a breeder who cares so much about her little ones and wants to ensure they get a good home and are well taken care of. We will post some pics periodically to show her progress.

Samson is wonderful! He is very playful, but loves to cuddle. My 4 year old daughter is in love with him! Gayle and I are so happy with him. He is doing excellent with potty training and gets along great with our other animals (Mini Daschund and Cat). We will have some pictures to post soon!!! Thank you!

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE MARTINS WAS GOOD.SHELLY HAD 2 SHORKIES LEFT WHEN WE CONTACTED HER. WE WENT TO SEE THEM. THE PUPPIES WERE VERY SOCIABLE DUE TO THE MARTINS HAVING A DAUGHTER THAT PLAYED WITH THE PUPPIES FROM BIRTH. SO THEY WERE USED TO BEING HANDLED. IT DIDN'T TAKE US LONG TO PICK OUR SHORKIE. SHELLY ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS ABOUT PUPPIES AND WHAT TO EXPECT THE FIRST 2 WEEKS. OUR SHORKIE'S SHOTS WERE UP TO DATE WHEN WE RECEIVED HER. SHELLY TRIMMED OUR SHORKIES NAILS BEFORE WE LEFT AND SENT US HOME WITH A TOY FOR OUR SHORKIE WHICH IS HER FAVORITE BED TIME THING TO HAVE WITH HER IN HER BED. THE PLACE IN WHICH THESE SHORKIES WERE BRED AND BORN IS VERY CLEAN AND THE PUPPIES ARE WELL CARED FOR. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SHORKIE GO SEE THE MARTINS. YOU WILL FIND A VERY LOVING AND PLAYFUL PET. OUR SHORKIE LOVES TO BE ON YOUR LAP, AT YOUR FEET OR BEING HELD.. \ SHORKIES ARE LOVABLE AND VERY LOVING IN RETURN. WE NAMED OUR SHORKIE SNUGGLES BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT SHE LIKES TO DO.

Cupcake is doing great. She is a snuggler! She constantly wants us to hold her which is great! Her potty training has been going great also. She has only had one accident! It is like she knows to go out when she has to go! Last night my Tuffy and Cupcake were actually snuggled next to each other taking a nap. We will keep in touch and send some pictures soon!

Shelly - we are interested in your shorkies....and love the little boy and the girl #5. Are they still available? How much did their mom and dad weigh? I do have two children ages 9 and 3 but still want a small dog. We have been looking at silky terriers, but are finding that their personalities are not quite what we are looking for. We want more of a sweet, cuddly, playful personality. We ran across your shorkies and love them! any information would be appreciated! thank you. Julie

We got Dozer Aug. 2, 2008. Picking up our puppy from Martin's Yorkies was an amazing experience. My husband and I have waited 6 months to get a dog. We really wanted to get a great dog from a great breeder. I found Martin's Yorkies from searching online for yorkie mixes. It was really pleasant talking with Shelly. She answered any questions we had and even kept us updated with pics of Dozer. Dozer has responded quickly to training and does not go in the house at all. Even the vet says that he's a great puppy and well-behaved. It was definitely worth the 250 mile drive one way to get Dozer. He has been a great addition to our family. Shelly has done a great job and we highly recommend her.

We picked up our Maggie(Yorkie Poo) on Memorial Day weekend this year and fell in love with her instantly. She brings so much joy to our whole family, including our extended family and friends. Everywhere we take her (and that is everywhere we can - even on vacation) people stop us and want to know about her. We tell them about Martin's Yorkies and what a great experience we had in getting her from Shelly. She does a fantastic job with her puppies. Anytime we had a question Shelly responded promptly, and we received pictures several times before we picked Maggie up. She has fit into our family perfectly! She loves the attention she has received at ballgames, shopping, and camping. My daughter searched the internet and just happened to find MartinsYorkies.com, we checked out Shelly's site and thought it seemed promising so we called. Getting a dog from Martin'a Yorkies was an excellent experience. After picking out Rowdy, a Shih-Poo, Shelly welcomed us to her home to visit with our soon-to-be puppy. (We live approximately 20 miles from Benton). She kept in touch with us until it was time to pick him up and then provided us with helpful information for getting started with a puppy. Rowdy has been a super puppy! He adjusted to his new home quickly. (Much faster than our Yorkie-Poo adjusted to having another dog in the house!). I would highly recommend working with Martin's Yorkies if you are intereted in a family pet!

I bought my little fuzzy companion Spots on March 26,2008.He has been a wonderful and loving companion.He slept on my lap the entire ride home and was following me around like he had known me all his life the very first day.He loves to run on the farm and enjoys being outside.He is a very playful and full of energy pup. He has learned several tricks and housebreaking went very well with him(although I had to wash a few throw rugs from time to time).He is the perfect pup.He is nearly 8 months old now and when he was 4 months old I cut his fur only to be surprised that he was silver under his puppy coat.everyone thought I had bought another pup.He is by far the best thing I ever decided to do.He never leaves my side.he hasn't met any other animal that he hasn't liked and to my surprise he is not a big barker.You never hear him except when he see's his treat's.I thank Shelly for making such wonderful puppy's that are so well adjusted so fast with their new family's.

We picked up Willow(shihpoo) a little over 2 weeks ago and she is absolutely wonderful! She is so playful and sweet and gets along great with our other 3 dogs. She's also wonderful with our 2 kids. I could not have asked for a better pup or a better experience. I was a little nervous buying a puppy over the internet, but Shelly was wonderful and made it a very easy. We were updated with pictures and Shelly was very quick to respond when I emailed her. This was a great experience and I would happily buy from Shelly again!!! Thanks!!!

All I can say is WOW!!! What an amazing little guy our little Pickles is! We have been in love with him since we first saw his picture, and we got him last night... he is SO adorable! He's been pottying outside, and he is so great with the kids. I've been wanting a Westie for awhile and we definitely found our perfect pet. It is obvious that he has been very well taken care of, and he is definitely going to continue to be spoiled! Shelly was so great about answering all my questions so I could get everything ready for "baby"... thank you so much for everything. He's perfect!!!!

I just got home from picking up little Holly...and let me say that it's been absolutely great right from the start! Shelly always kept in touch, sending me pictures and updates on how my little baby was doing. I'll admit, at first I was very nervous, but Shelly answered all my questions without hesitation and put my mind at ease. Her kennels were very clean and the other dogs looked very happy and healthy. When I went to pick up Holly, I could already tell that they had socialized her well...and indeed they had! All the way home I was greeted with kisses, and already Holly's become best friends with my Australian Shepherd, Magic. Thanks much, Shelly, for making this experience easy and awesome!

I just recently picked up my little guy Frankie on Friday. He is the sweetest little guy and you can tell that he was well taken care of. He's already doing really well with potty training. Thank you shelly for raising such a wonderful puppy. If I wanted to add another addition to my family I would definitely get another puppy from them.

About 2 weeks ago I went with my boyfriend to pick up Tuffy, and my life has not been the same since! He is incredible. Eventhough we haven't had him for very long, I can tell you that he is one of the most well behaved puppies I have been around. Tuffy is already aware of where he can and cannot go to the bathroom, he (almost) always goes straight to his poddy-pad! What a SMART puppy! He loves to play, but also loves to just sit in your lap and be loved. We couldnt have recieved a sweeter puppy than Tuffy. Thank you Shelly and your family for breeding such great dogs! I know that if I ever want to bring another addition into our family I have someone to go to. This has been a wonderful experience and I appreciate your willingness to answer any questions, and your love for Tuffy and the rest of the puppies you have raised! Take care. **Mickenzie & Josh

about two months ago my husband and I lost a our beloved pet of 17 years. when we began searching for a new puppy we came across shelly's website. we called and talked with shelly about getting one of her puppies. she was incredibly helpful thoughout the whole process. Shelly answered all our questions. she and her family spend alot of time with the puppies, getting them use to their names, being around adults and children. Our Briar came prespoiled and well loved. she sent us pictures every week keeping us informed of his progress. it is great knowing that we can get answers to any question we may have. Shelly thank you for Briar and the great experience.

a couple of weeks ago i was searching for a puppy and happened to come across shelly's website. in an instant i fell in love with wilson's picture; his cute little face, paws, everything. i have never owned a puppy before but when i contacted shelly she was incredibllpful throughout the process. she gave me information regarding wilson including training tips and a description of his personality, along with pictures of the little guy. shelly was extremely patient and helpful and i could tell right away that she cares about the welfare of her dogs deeply. i have had wilson for a couple of weeks now, and he's doing great. shelly still takes the time and care to answer my questions. shelly, thanks so much for a wonderful puppy!

paxton was a great find for our family. he is extremely healthy and happy., and was well taken care of before we added him to our home. i highly recommend any puppy from shelly. i am sure they will be a great addition to your family.

I drove 325 miles (one way) to pick up Laci from Shelly on Sunday March 23. I did ALOT research on Yorkie breeders and knew that Shelly was a caring breeder who truly wanted the very best for her dogs. As many of you know, there are several breeders out there who are running "puppy mills" and could care less as to whether or not their puppies are being sold to good homes. They are only in it for the money and treat their animals extremely poorly. Shelly clearly is not type of breeder and only wants the very best homes for her babies. Laci slept in my lap the entire home and has adapted very well to her new surroundings. She is adorable and was worth the 650 mile round trip car drive! Shelly pre-spoiled Laci and she is a total lap dog!! She is an incredibly affectionate and friendly dog who was very well socialized prior to being placed in my home. Shelly definitely put the time and TLC into ensuring that I received a healthy, happy, well adjusted puppy!! -Michelle Ballard

I bought Shiloh form Shelly on September 26, 2007. He is a wonderful puppy. He was very well socialized and has a great personalty. He is very laid back and easy going, but loves to play as well. He is very friendly and loves attention and other people. He is a very healthy, happy puppy who has brought great joy to our home. We have other yorkies as well and he has always gotten along with them. Shelly is a great breeder and I would highly recommend her. She raises healthy, well socialized happy puppies. Thank you so much for Shiloh, Shelly, I can't imagine what it would be like without him. He is a perfect addition to our yorkie family.

I bought Sprinkles from Shelly on the 5th of March. And, Sprinkles is already a part of our family! She has learned so much and loved so much and been loved so much that the adjustment to her new home went unnoticed. She hasn't seemed lonely or sad at all since we got her. She loves to play and be played with. Sprinkles favorite thing is to curl up with me at night when I go to sleep. She is the best puppy and I don't think I could have wished for a better baby girl to have in our home. Shelly is the best and has been so great! She will be the only person I buy puppies from from now on. Shelly - Thank you so much for Sprinkles! We love her so much and now that we have her I don't know what it would be like without her.

OUR FAMILY FELL IN LOVE WITH SOPHIE WITH JUST PICTURES(WHICH SHELLY SENT US MANY TO VIEW SOPHIE'S PROGRESS). FROM THE FIRST TELEPHONE CONVERSATION AND THE MANY EMAIL, SHE MADE THIS VERY EASY. SHE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND STILL DOES. I AM STILL EXCITED TO EMAIL SHELLY AND LET HER KNOW HOW OUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER IS DOING. OUR YORKIE SOPHIE WAS SPOILED WHEN WE GOT HER AND IS DOING GREAT.
